SteelFrame and SteelFrame Studio are a mainframe-compatible environment provided for training, development, evaluation, and testing.
Last updated: 2 September 2026
By logging on to or otherwise using SteelFrame or SteelFrame Studio (together, the “Platform”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. Continued use after any change to these terms constitutes acceptance of the current version.
The Platform is made available solely for training, learning, development, evaluation, demonstration, and testing. Any other use, including production or business-operational use, is not permitted. You may not rely on the Platform for the processing, storage, or safekeeping of any data of value.
This section explains what personal information the Platform collects when you request a user ID, why, and how it is handled. It is short because the Platform collects very little.
LISTUSER-style output.SteelFrame is a shared estate with per-user-ID isolation, not a dedicated instance. All user IDs have read-only access to the shared estate; anything you create under your own ID is private to you. Administrators hold system-level authority, as on any mainframe.
The environment is resettable. Where a reset is needed, we will notify you beforehand so you can preserve anything you want to keep. We would still suggest keeping your own copies of your test artefacts, as we cannot rule out loss from an unplanned outage.
The Platform is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including without limitation any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, title, or non-infringement. No warranty is made that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any result, output, or emulated behavior is correct or complete. You use the Platform entirely at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the provider and its contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, or business interruption, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the Platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Your sole and exclusive remedy for dissatisfaction with the Platform is to stop using it.
You may not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, nor attempt to gain unauthorized access to, disrupt, degrade, overload, or compromise the Platform, any hosting infrastructure, or any other user’s data or sessions. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent access controls except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law. The provider may suspend or terminate access at any time to protect the Platform or its users.
SteelFrame is an independent, clean-room compatibility implementation, not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by IBM. IBM, z/OS, CICS, Db2, RACF, MVS, and ISPF are trademarks or registered trademarks of International Business Machines Corporation; such names appear solely to identify compatibility and do not imply any association or endorsement. All other product and company names may be trademarks of their respective owners.
SteelFrame is developed by Osome Apps Inc. in Manila, Philippines. We also operate a Singapore entity, Lions Agentix Pte. Ltd., which handles commercial and contracting matters, including any licence, subscription, or service agreement relating to the Platform. References in these terms to “the provider,” “we,” or “us” mean these two companies, as applicable.
For account requests (including password resets and removal of your registration, section 4) or questions about these terms, contact us using the details shown on the logon panel.
These Terms of Use may be updated from time to time. The version shown here, with the “last updated” date above, is the current version. Continued use of the Platform after an update means you accept the updated terms.
